What to expect when receiving your treatment

Aesthetic treatments in the comfort of your own home within Hackney and North London

If you're considering an aesthetic treatment and like the idea of me coming to your home for the convenience it offers but are not sure how it all works. Here are answers some of the common questions I’m asked below:

What happens before I book an appointment?

I am happy to answer your questions or give advice to help you make decisions on the phone, but initially, we'll meet online via Zoom, which provides privacy and allows us flexibility around your schedule.

Aesthetic treatment choices can be overwhelming, but my consultations are friendly and tailored to your needs. This provides the opportunity for a relaxed discussion where we will look at what you would like to achieve and go through your medical and aesthetic history.

I offer a comprehensive approach to treatment and this time allows you to decide whether I am the right practitioner for you. Together, we'll discuss your goals and any concerns you may have, which ensures transparency and builds trust. I can then offer explanations and reassurance about procedures.

What happens next?

Once you have decided on a treatment plan, I'll email pre-treatment information, which will include the time the procedure will take and details about downtime. You will then feel better prepared and calmer at your appointment. We will always agree on a treatment price in advance.

Do I need to prepare my home in any way?

I generally need a space with good light and for you to have the privacy you require. Depending on the treatment I may need space for my treatment table. If you have chosen microneedling, the device needs access to a power source.

Do I need to worry about infection in my home?

There are fewer issues with infection within your own home because there are less problems with cross-infection, which is the spread from other individuals or places ie in a clinic environment. I can guarantee the highest standards of aseptic technique with each procedure.

The day before your treatment

If you have any questions or worries get in touch, but the main recommendations would be, stay hydrated, avoid alcohol for 24 hours as this can affect bruising and make sure you have eaten something before any procedure.

The day of your treatment

On the day of the treatment the most important things are for you to be comfortable. We will remove any make-up and clean the treatment areas. If numbing cream is applied, we will allow this time for this to work. Then there will be a final consent process.

After your treatment, I will take you through the steps to maximise the results and leave you with post-procedure care information. If you have any problems, you will know that you are in safe hands and I am not far away.

“I had my first ever lip filler with Danna. She was excellent at explaining the procedure and managing expectations. We discussed what my goals were and how that would work in terms of steps to get there as she was clear about it may be a journey and not an overnight dream result.

Regardless of Danna's immense medical experience as a nurse, what I really appreciated was her reassuring me that if at any point during the discussion I changed my mind that it was ok - it felt like I was in control from start to finish. I am very happy with how it went and can highly recommend her.”
